ME (Myalgic Encephalopathy) is for thousands of people a debilitating illness, the causes of which are still unclear. Its effects can leave sufferers bedridden with exhaustion.

Here Hannah George, of the Sutton Coldfield Observer, speaks to one Sutton woman who, through a range of complimentary therapies has fought her way back to health and is now offering others the benefit of her experience.

AFTER suffering with ME for five years, Sutton mum-of-two,Linda Jones says she is finally living a normal life. She has spent the last few years training in a wide range of complimentary therapies which have collectively contributed to her recovery.

"I have the odd day of feeling fatigue, but nothing like how I used to be," she said.
"Having ME is pure exhaustion, at times even climbing the stairs became a struggle for me."

Linda is now qualified in herbal medicine,supplementation, iridology and tai chi and uses her expertise to help other ME sufferers.She also teaches a massag eand relaxation programme for children in schools.

"It is so rewarding to see people get back the life they had before," she said.

"I am extremely passionate about sharing my knowledge of how I have recovered from M.E.
